Our story
IT ALL STARTED IN 1979
In the last 40 years, Hosiery Center has grown from an importer of tights and socks to a fashion company specializing in the sales, distribution, logistics, marketing and service of quality brands in the field of 'close-to-the-skin' products: legwear, underwear, lingerie, shapewear and swimwear. The main market currently is the Benelux (= Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg). Both offline and online, we are a strong and solid company that believes in quality, reliability, fashion, innovation and service and always go for long term partnerships.
Our focus points
These can best be described with a several keywords: top brands, brand builders, longterm partnerships, reliability, loyalty, professionalism, NOS (Never Out of Stock), automation and EDI, offline and online, omnichannel, fashion, innovation, conceptual thinking, passion for product and people, respect for the environment. And last but not least: quality and service in the broadest sense of the word!
Our clients
Our clients are the top department stores like Bijenkorf and Inno, fashion chains like Vanilia and Claudia Strater, lingerie chains like Lincherie and Livera, legwear and underwear chains like Sven & Sophie and Jambelle and numerous smaller fashion boutiques and specialty stores. Online we deliver our products to the marketplaces Wehkamp and Bol.com and many other online players like Perfectly Basics and Beenmode.nl. Total number of clients is approximately 750.
Our salesteam
The managing-director taking care of the key-accounts the Bijenkorf, Inno, Wehkamp and Bol.com.
A salesmanager and 2 accountmanagers taking care of all Dutch customers. Each of them has an own territory, covering the whole country.
2 salesagents for Belgium and Luxemburg, covering both countries.
4 brand ambassadors taking care of the sales and promotion of our brandswithin the 4 flagship stores of the Bijenkorf.
Our showroom & fairs
Of course we have a showroom at our headquarters in Vught where we receive customers and suppliers for meetings and presentations. We also have a showroom in the Cube Center in Almere. Very centrally located and easily accessible. In the Cube Center all the major brands in legwear, underwear, lingerie and beachwear are represented with their own showroom. Every season the Bodyfashion Tradefair is held here, the only specialized fair in the Netherlands. Of course we are also present at the Belgian lingerie fair Lingerie-Pro.
Our logistics
Hosiery Center has its own distribution center where all products are in stock and from where department stores, chains, fashion boutiques and specialty stores from across the Benelux can be supplied within 24 hours. Due to the high degree of automation, an extremely high level of delivery and accuracy is achieved. Hosiery Center is praised throughout the market for its speed of delivery, reliability and accuracy.
Our DNA
Quality: we believe in total-quality. From product to presentation, from sales to customerservice, from order to delivery and invoice, we strive to keep our quality standards at the highest possible level.
Innovation: we believe that innovation is a crucial and vital feature for success. Therefore we constantly bring the latest innovations.

Service: we keep stock in all products which we carry in our extensive collections and are able to deliver our customers all their orders within 24 hours. We even have a special 'Saturday-Delivery-Service' in case our customers are in need of extra goods for the weekend.
Reliability: what we promise, we will do. If we can’t do it, we will tell you.
Flexibility: we think in chances, not in impossibilities. We are always there for our suppliers and customers and will always find a solution in case a problem might pop up.
Long-term cooperation: if we become partners, we want to keep it that way for many, many years. We are not present in the market for quick profits. We want to build brands in a professional, solid and sound way and this takes time.
Selective distribution: we only cooperate with top-retailers in our markets who really believe in our brands, who are willing to invest in our brands and who have the right ideas about a partnership.
